A Way in the wilderness and Rivers in the desert more often than not are intermittent Places of Refuge and ReFreshment...on The Way...to The Promised Land, rather than a clear path and smooth sailing. There are just as many reasons to Embrace the brush and dry times as The Way and The River. Some old things simply cannot come into The New. Isaiah 43:18-19 18¶Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Psalm 37:34 34Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: Galatians 6:9 9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Habakkuk 2:3 3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
