A West Wilmerding volunteer firefighter is suspended for making social media comments thought to be racist. A few people on Facebook brought this to our attention and we took it to the North Versailles Town Manager and head of the fire committee. One of his comments talks about burning down a couple of Pittsburgh neighborhoods on the east end. He told me they took swift action after learning about this and have zero tolerance for it. The firefighter will have a hearing tonight to learn his future with the department. #WPXI
