A Wise Mama ask: URGENT: My son (8.5 months old) will usually nurse one side and then nap every 2hrs for about 30-45 mins... He gets a small dinner (a few bites) with us of what ever were eating at night. Im always sure to nurse him first although he sometimes will just take a few sips and be done with me.... He is having an adequate amount of wet diapers but he keeps pulling off and crying. Ill try and hand express after he does this a few times and nothing comes out but a few drops. Just now he switched back and forth between breasts 4 times which isnt like him at all. He hasnt taken both breasts since he was two months old. Ive yet to get my period back so thats a possibility....took a pregnancy test which is negative. Ive started taking blessed thistle and fenugreek along with a calcium/magnesium/vit d incase the decrease is sure to ovulation. I just cant figure it out. Does anyone have any ideas as to why there would be a sudden decrease? Its happened over the last week or so. Ive gone though hell to nurse my son! tt, lt, overactive letdown, over supply, dairy soy and egg intolerance 3 months of mastitis followed by a month and a half of thrush...Im not ready to give up now! #wisemamaquestion
