A Woman of Virtue...... Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and - TopicsExpress

A Woman of Virtue...... Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the Lord, she shall be found worthy. My VERY closest friend and I were talking today.... ironically, she and I met THROUGH her husband ON the web. He is a fellow business ROCKSTAR and we were connected through MLM. BEFORE I would communicate through PM with him, I reached out to his wife, introduced myself, made my intentions clear, and asked for her permission to communicate with him.... letting her know that I would be MORE comfortable if she were monitoring our communications. She and I hit it off right away and have since become the absolute best of friends.... our children are friends..... her husband and I are friends. I believe with ALL of my heart that God blesses honesty.... Doing the work that I do, I see MANY families torn apart because of mistrust, hidden communications through social media, texting, etc. I NEVER want to be a reason for there to be ANY lack of trust in ANY relationship. So when I began doing business on the web, and I began this ministry, I laid out a VERY strict policy (no exceptions) of NOT communicating PRIVATELY with ANY gentleman who is involved or is married... even old friends.... WITHOUT the express permission of his wife or significant other. For you gentlemen who reach out through PM? If I have not responded, those are my reasons. I am happy to communicate with you on the wall. Which is also one of the main reasons that the motivational posts are Public. So there is no hidden communication. In your heart, if you know your significant other would be uncomfortable reading what you are communicating? Or knowing whom you are communicating with? Then maybe you should not be. And that guideline in my OWN life? Has turned out to be such a blessing.... God has rewarded it with WONDERFUL friendships with some pretty amazing people. That dear friend of mine let me know just today how very much she respected me for reaching out to her. And I am SO very glad I did. She is so much more than a sister.... a blessing from God. I LOVE my Heavenly Father. But I also FEAR my Heavenly Father. And all of the distrust I see occurring in families and relationships as a result of social media use is something I never wish to be caught up in. Be honest... be open. God will bless it. Philippians 4:8 Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
