A Year To Remeber Well we have had one hell of a year lol. As I look back over the past year I cant feel anything but blessed for the horses, the friends, the angels Marv and I have met. As of today we touched the lives and made a difference of 107 horses in one year. Has it been hard you bet, has there been tears you bet, has there been sleepless nights lots but more than that there has been smiles hugs laughs love friendship that will last a lifetime. I have witnessed more miracles this year than ever before from an old mare that was so baldly hurt she should have give up but she fought to survive and remind me no matter how bad things seem you get up each day and put one foot in front of the other. I have witnessed the pure heart of angels send gifts of warmth to our rescues just because they wanted to help. I have seen so many new owners adopt there horses with such excitement and witness the love of a lifelong bond between horse and owner. I have watched as a thin horse gains his weight and plays in the field for the first time happy and healthy. I have witnessed so many nervous and afraid horses that just need to know they are safe and then they let you in. I have trained so many that just needed to be shown the way with a quiet hand and trust in your eyes. I have watched a newborn foal take its first breath. I have seen pain I have seen heartbreak but most of all I have seen joy love and kindness. People ask me all the time how do you do what you do?? I guess my answer is easy its for the horses, its to give them that shot they so desperately need. Dont matter bred age training or size. I dont know what next year holds for us but just as Bella did we will continue to put one foot in front of the other and do our best. I cant thank all my angels that sent gifts to all these very special horses you are a part of our family and will always be in our hearts.
