A Yes supporter was arrested by police outside a polling station today after allegedly assaulting a unionist trying to vote No, as nationalists mounted a last-minute bullying campaign to intimidate people into voting for independence. The man was arrested in Clydebank after confronting a Labour councillor at around 9.30am. It comes after a blind pensioner was punched in the face for supporting a No vote and graffiti threatening Vote yes or else was daubed on the walls of a station near Glasgow.
