A Youth’s Prayer Dear Father, Today is a special today. One - TopicsExpress

A Youth’s Prayer Dear Father, Today is a special today. One because it OUR Sabbath, the day you gave US sanctified and ordained. A day of REST and worship and secondly because it is OUR YOUTH DAY. You know how hard my sister worked for this day. We fasted and prayed over the group of names of people we invited, old members and visitors alike. Some feel akward Father for WE haven’t been home in so long. WE feel shamed because WE came up here and WE aren’t exactly where WE thought WE would be in life or WE feel as though WE have wandered too far or some US will come still with OUR heads held high but with reinforced walls because something or someone here has hurt US before. WE fear ridicule, stares, and rejection. WE want to come home Father I can feel it but WE don’t know how. Lead US home. Clear a path and a way. Remove all fear and doubt and uncertainty and the should not’s and the one million and one reasons WE will come up with not to attend. Those of US especially who have felt broken and betrayed time and time again by the ones who claimed to love US and wish US well; mend those heart. Those of US who have been so mad at you for the troubles WE have seen, put your harm around US now. In tears now I ask they WHEN WE WALK through the doors of Mt. Olivet SDA Church today WE will be shrouded in your presence. Let the members not see the jewelry WE may wear or the skirt that may be too high or too tight or the clothes that may be “too flashy”. Let them just give praises that WE are here. Let them pray with one another that they will “see US again soon”. Let the hugs and the love be genuine. Let there be an out pouring of YOUR HOLY SPIRIT today. Please tell Lucifer he and his demons they cannot attend this church today. He will not disturb our children and cause us to miss important information you intended for US today. He will not mess with communications or anything else he tries to use. Anyone with ill desires today Father, keep them home. Please meet me at church. I have had an amazingly difficult week. I’d like to lay it all at the alter. I’d like to meet there the individuals I invited so we can worship you for all you will do for us today, tomorrow, and next week. I am so tired of wearing happy and passing out on the inside so give me renewed strength if just for today. I Love You; your unworthy daughter whom you still cradle in your arms.
