A banner day for me on FB. I think I unfollowed or blocked at least 75 people today. I am not a U2 fan, and in my thousands of CDs and records there is not one note of U2 music. However, all these snarky, juvenile comments about Bonos recent injury and the headline that he might never play guitar again, and so many stupid, unfunny remarks gleefully celebrating a musicians injury that could result in him never being able to play again really struck the fellow musicians brotherhood bone in my body. While the guy does not need my help or support, as well as my surprise at myself for offering it nonetheless, I find myself disgusted at these remarks people are making. To me, like him or not, he is a fellow lifer musician, and as such I will stand in support of him, hope for his recovery, and raise a hardy middle finger, and say adios to everyone who thinks he is deserving of this situation and your pathetic, ignorant, and just plain mean comments. If this means you do not be surprised if you and I never cross paths again, here or anywhere else
