A baseball blast from the past in Fayetteville, a music-focused family fair in Winston-Salem and an exploration of African art for families in Raleigh are just of the few of the opportunities for fun youll find this weekend with the N.C. Department of Cultural Resources. The weekend fun starts Thursday morning when staff from the N.C. Museum of History in Raleigh will read the story Pirate Girl and take kids for a visit to one of the museums galleries, and continues Friday evening in Elizabeth City when artwork from the Museum of the Albemarles popular Paint and Cookie program will be featured as part the citys First Friday Art Walk.
