A beautiful Brazilian connection .........Marcelo Costa Santos Marcelo is a Brasilian singer/songwriter and he worked closely with Jim Capaldi during the years that Jim lived in Rio de Janeiro. So George got to know Marcelo because of Jim. Then the warm friendship began. In 1996 Marcelo came to England to visit the Harrison family and together with Jim Capaldi there was some quality time spend with singing and playing traditional music. Marcelo recorded George s song Circles in Portugues. The video is stunning, the quality is not great but absolutely moved me !! George and Marcelo in 1996.
