A beautiful French aesthetic... Cécile Daladier creates vases inspired by flower type; vases that encourage picking flowers from the garden, between the pavement, or from a mountain top. Daladiers vases encourage instant, simple arrangements; as she says, a small garden on the table. Before working with clay, Daladier studied fine arts and music, drawing inspiration from both water and flowers. So she combined the two to focus on botanicals, singular ceramics that she shapes and fires at her studio in the Drôme region of France. At home in Paris, Daladier collaborates with partner Nicolas Soulier under the name Assaï, building Jardins Miroirs and their Capteurs collection (large-scale glass and iron sculptures made to collect water).
