A beautiful black and white pig named Toast came to WRR a little over 2 years ago. Sadly she had a severe and irreparable spinal injury that caused her to lose use of her back legs. As with all animals Toast did not spend any time feeling sorry for herself, she simply set about the business of learning to get around using her strong back muscles. This personable pig loves the company of everyone who works and volunteers at Wildlife Rescue and since her yard is located in the perfect spot to take full advantage of the constant coming and going of her favorite people she is also the recipient of healthy treats. Some of her favorites are watermelon, grapes, mangoes and tomatoes, she just loves to hear the squish of the juicy delicacies between her teeth as she gobbles up every goodie offered her.
