A beautiful day today at Merimbula Wharf, perfect for our student OPEN WATER DIVER Megan to complete some of the skills required of the qualification, not only that but the wildlife was in abundance. Ranging from very pretty nudibranchs to massive stingrays, we even got to interact with a large Eagle Ray, this graceful creature, flys around the ocean like a large glider and can move pretty fast when disturbed. We found a new section of sponge with a myriad of coloured tunicates, just stunning. A baby Fiddler Ray allowed us close and of course we got a visit from hungry BAZZER the Blue Groper eager for a feed of urchin. Fantastic fun, have you ever wanted to experience the amazing aquatic world that is the Sapphire Coast of NSW? if your answer is yes? Then give us a call or respond to this post and Micheal Standen will arrange your course.....Many thanks to Rod Studholme for some of these great shots Rick Carey aka Baldrick Dive Control Specialist Merimbula Divers Lodge 23 Nov 2014
