A beautiful morning in Cardston and the wind has let up so I decided to go fishing at the St. Mary Reservoir about 15 minutes drive from home. Turned out to be a good choice. By 9 am I had caught 5 nice Walleyes. You are allowed to keep a maximum of 3 as long as they are over the 20 inches in length so I headed back home once I had 3 that size. There is nothing better than fresh walleye fillet fried with a little butter and salt and pepper along with fresh salad from the garden. Dining well tonight! The Pelican was having a pretty good morning too. Saw him catch several fish while I was there.
