A beautiful recommendation letter from a Camp Chemda parent. Doesnt even sound chasidishly written. Left out the name for now. Right from the beginning, we held high expectations for Camp Chemda. Well, all we can say is that it worked out beyond the wildest dreams! Everything was so well organised. From the mornings when the bus awaited them promptly; to lunch in scenic parks or fields; to a packed day full of trips, with sheurim sprinkled in here and there; to a warm meal awaiting the girls; to the superb night programs; to the surprises; to the sleeping arrangements; to everything; to no extent!!!!!!! We were specifically pleased with the programs perfect balance of seriousness and growth, vs. Fun and thrilling adventures. The efforts that went into the itinerary was apparent-literally every corner of Israel was covered. First in the south and then in the north. What was also so amazing about the tour was that there wasnt only one main tour guide who accompanied them on all the trips. Rather, in each place there was a different guide who specialized in that specific area. Also, my daughter kept on raving about the comfortable accommodations, as well as the delicious, nourishing meals. (American style, no less...) It was also to the girlsadvantage that most nights they went back to the same place. It gave them a sense of stability, as opposed to most other tours where they live in suitcases for the duration of the trip. After I saw my daughters face in the airport upon arrival, all I can say us that NO AMOUNT OF MONEY CAN ADEQUATELY REFLECT THE AMOUNT THAT SHE GAINED ON THIS TOUR!!! In my daughters words: Ive never tried anything else, but I cant fathom anything better than that. Camp Chemda is a dream come true!!! All the best, and happy planning!
