A beautiful woman I met once at Tzvis place Little Woo wrote these powerful words about our much loved Robin Williams. I felt moved to share it this morning especially since Im away in Tonga swimming with the whales which is a dream come true but also an experience for deep healing. The whales have already brought to light a few things I wish I didnt have to look at in myself but I know are blocking my light to the world. So grateful for this magical experience and the courage it takes to heal and the compassion I feel for the suffering souls of the world. May you rest in peace RW. a deep bow to his spirit for shining so brightly despite the pain he felt inside. There is a duality in his story...for its a sobering reminder that all the success, money, respect, adoration from millions cannot wash ones deepest pain away. Yet its also a potent reminder that despite having such unfathomable pain, one can still make a huge impact in the world. Even when we feel broken inside, our deepest essence still radiates like a supernova. Of course, the tragedy is that the suffering soul cannot fully appreciate his own light even as others may treasure him. So Robin Williams final act of truth is a powerful reminder of the healing and evolutionary work we are all here to do. The wounds we carry (from our ancestors, from humanity and from our own struggles in this lifetime) point to our deeper purpose. Our wounds beckon us to understand each others pain through the lens of compassion so that we may move out of fear/survival/reaction/medication into love/thrival/action/meditation. This journey is a comedy, tragedy, action thriller and epic drama all rolled into one. We each have an important piece to contribute. What will your verse be? Peace to all beings and may our individual work allievate suffering in this world...
