A better man I have never known. Throughout most of my life my father has been my hero. The person I have striven to be like. My father has always been there for me and anyone who needed it. He at times worked two full time jobs and always still found time to let me know he loved me. Many people believe I named my son after me but I did not - I named him after my dad. For a long time I believed that being strong meant never being knocked down. He taught me how wrong that was. He was knocked down more in his than mos and he always got up, dusted off, and carried on. Thus demonstrating to me true strength. In the end of 2013 he was diagnosed with something that even the strongest man Ive ever known couldnt fight. Cancer. How unfair life is. Early this morning he lost his valiant battle. I will never be the same. Dad I truly hope you find eternal love and peace with mom in heaven. I love you Dad
