A big F-YOU to Time Warner. I called back in Sept to cancel our internet+phone when we moved to AT&T. Noticed today that were still getting billed for internet, and in fact we mistakenly paid a bill last month. Called Time Warner this morning and they tell me that the cancelation never really completed back in Sept because the phone number port was in progress so they couldnt finish canceling the account. Unfortunately they never told me that, so I assumed the account was closed back in Sept when I called to cancel it. Now they want to bill me up through today (because they finally went in this morning and really cancelled it) plus wont refund the payment we made last month that we shouldnt have. Its in escalation now - will see what happens in the 48 hours. Idiots.
