A big THANKS to all of you for supporting this years FOX Tot. It is you, all our friends in the various morris teams which make this event so uniquely friendly and enjoyable. So many happy memories! The Loose Women dancing in the fountains…oh those wet t shirts & damp bloomers, Bunnies wonderful dance with that “Egyptian” flavour (and their “younger” dancers on Friday night), Bellyfusion leading us all in a spot of belly dancing, Powder Kegs amazing act on Saturday night, The Brood performance in Church, Mill Town’s “Coconut dance” (still crying at the thought), the enthusiasm & friendship of Styx, Exmoor’s “Porlock” (sorry about the lobster!) and Tart’s vicar leading out of St Leonard’s with Rev Richard Court (priceless). Friday night at FOX Trot is always different, but the atmosphere this year was pure magic. Thanks to members of Pebworth morris & Belle d’Vain. You are both our special friends now. Thanks Nigel and all your staff at The Fleece for looking after so well. Worcester worked well on Saturday, despite the heat and lack of breeze. We all appreciated the free/discounted drinks too. Anthony – you did a brilliant job compering the acts in the evening! And what acts they were too. Sunday in the church was a delight, with all the various contributions from those present. Thank you Henry’s Orchard…he was surely smiling down on us all. The final few dances this afternoon, Monkey, Belly & Klezmer epitomised what this years Trot was all about.
