A big day tomorrow with our 20/1 Neptune Novice Hurdle bet for Cheltenham, TELL US MORE, running at Naas. A much sterner test than he has faced so far, with the well touted Free Expression in opposition. I havent taken to Free Expression but you cant argue that his form has worked out well, with On Impulse (also in this), Rock The World and Kauto Grand Mogul all winning having been beaten by him. Martello Tower has also won since falling at the second last at Navan with Free Expression upsides. The second placed horse in that Grade 2, Shantou Flyer, has since finished fourth behind No More Heroes and Shaneshill, beaten 10.5 lengths. Taken literally, that form would suggest Free Expression is slightly below top class, but could be a horse that keeps a bit to himself because he didnt really go on from Shantou Flyer having looked like he would. The point is that Free Expression is a solid opponent and if Tell Us More swats him then what price will he be? He really would want to be winning in order to justify his position at the head of the Neptune market. I think hell win well and therell be quotes of 7/2 for Cheltenham around this time tomorrow. Theres not much depth to the Neptune market at all. Take out Douvan who will probably only go here if both Tell Us More and Shaneshill disappoint, and we have Free Expression as joint fourth favourite.
