A big happy 40th birthday to my very, very special daughter Marrette. Turning 40 is a big deal for this young lady who has had to struggle through many adversities in her short life. Even though she will have more struggles, she still has been able to find the positives in everything. I have never seen anyone so independent, determined and courageous. Marrette has always been a loving and caring daughter, and even though with everything going on in her life at the moment, she still has time to smile and think of others.
