A big shout out to Kelsey Holder Whaley and Laura Keith for helping with the Awana Christmas store tonight at SMBC! Your help was needed and very much appreciated as Awana members from grades kindergarten through sixth grade carefully chose Christmas gifts for their parents. Chelsea Ray, Linda Nichols, Carolyn Luttrell, Darlene Taylor, Jane McAdams, and Edna Gordon - our hats off to all of you for the great gift-wrapping service you provided, keeping the gifts a surprise until they are opened on Christmas Day! Elizabeth Bagwell Bowman, thanks for the job you did tonight and every week as Awana Commander. You definitely have a heart for God and for the children of our church. Thank you to Bro. David Brown for your support as club pastor, allowing us to continue Awana for going on 15 years. Thanks to all of our Awana leaders and nursery workers who give their time every Wednesday night so the children of SMBC can learn to hide the Word of God in their hearts.
