A big thank you to all the men and women of the military and all the veterans who have served for our country. Reflecting on my own thoughts, I couldn’t imagine having to be away from my wife ( Meghan Gaffney Backs ) and daughter for extended periods of time, often half way around the world in harms way, as part of my job duties. Whether you agree or disagree with what we have fought for in the past, present or future - make sure you take a minute to think about the sacrifices made not for themselves but for their country as a whole. For every member of the military there will always be families, friends and loved ones thinking of them them - not just on Veterans Day - but everyday.
