A big weekend of doorknocking in Meadowbrook for Waterford Labor. On Friday afternoon I met Ian and Maryann who live in Links Ave. They told me that Campbell Newman had cut too much too fast and were concerned about staff cuts at Logan Hospital. This afternoon I met Anne who works in employment services in Logan. Shes worried about the rising unemployment rate because every week she sees just how tough it is for local people struggling to find a job. Thanks to my amazing team of volunteers for giving up their time to find out what matters to Meadowbrook residents!
