A big weekend of racing across NZ. This was our first outing in CX class, and it proved to be a tough one. We have been fighting handling issues at the higher speeds, in the deeper rivers. We had a big push on leg one, after going up a dead end channel in the thick fog, and that pretty much put us out of contention. But we had a much better run on the shallow and braided Rakia River, posting the third fastest time down. So we have a bit of sorting to do before the southland race. Bring it on!
