A big welcome to Ellen Woodson. She is our newest member to join the Civitan Club. Ellen is an Insurance and Financial Services Agent with Farmers Insurance here in Sylacauga. She’s already signed up to help with the ARC and Special Needs Kid’s Christmas Parties. Glad to have you on board! Small mistype in the newsletter… the ARC Christmas Party will be held at the Maxye Veazey Senior Center at the J Craig Recreational Center. This is the back portion of the Rec Center on the corner of 8th and Broadway. If you can, please arrive a little early to help setup. The newsletter said the party is held at the ARC Center. A big woohoo to all of us! Although we didn’t make our goal of 250 boxes of cakes, we did donate 186 boxes of cakes!! Pat yourself on the back and get ready for next year to increase our donations!! Maybe I’ll start a change bucket just to buy cakes!! Have a terrific day and be Civitan Happy!!
