A birthday letter to God Dear God, Hello. I feel like writing to you today. Since my birthday is just a few hours away, I first just want to say my thanks to you on some things. 1. Thank you for giving me my Parent. They are greatest gift you have ever given to me. I may not have realized it back then how much they makes me feel not alone, but now I do. Thank you for extending their life. 2. Thank you Lord for my family, I may not have the prefect family, but at least we are complete. We are not perfect people, but that we all know You, means we all get a chance to become better. I am really lucky, because you have revealed yourself to all of us. And for that Lord, thank you. 3. Thank you for my life. I may complain a lot, I know and I’m sorry. I just wished I could appreciate things more, but I do not know how to. But there’s one thing I know, I do know that I have it easy and i have a lot of blessings that I do not even realize and often take for granted. For that, I want to thank you from the very bottom of my being. 4. Thank you for few but good friends. Over time, we get to know people who really value us as we value them. Honestly, I am sometimes disappointed at how few people really do make me feel that I matter. But I believe that it is better than none. It is hard enough to find good friends but harder to keep true and wonderful ones. I am lucky I have some. 5. Thank you for letting this trip push through, and I will believe that it is your will. I will follow you Lord wherever you take me. Please just guide me and let me know, because I am constantly lost. I pray Lord that this experience will change me for the better, and maybe better days are coming. 6. Thank you for changing me and coming into my life. Without my experiences, I wouldn’t know how shallow and immature I was. I still have a long way to go Lord, but I know that I have changed a lot since then. Thank you for caring for me enough to want to change me. That’s it Lord. And thank you for another year. I know not a lot of people don’t get to live this far. And I know I’m already luckier than them. Wish me a happy birthday Lord!
