A bit of a rant: I am always surprised at those who hate to see others succeed or be happy and prosperous. I wish they could understand that perhaps this bitterness towards others who are happy is one of the things keeping them from being successful and happy in their own life. Dont worry what others do or have - make your way, be happy for others when they succeed and you might be surprised how this can transform your own life. Celebrate success for others - wouldnt you want the same? Why is it an us versus them mentality for some? Why isnt it a we? Why do people keep scorecards? Why is it if some people are successful, have nice things, and love their life people deride them for it and turn it into being about that person being conceited, materialistic, and thinking they are better than others? Being happy in no way means you think you are better than someone else - come on folks- Psych 101 here. All that tells me is that the person sniping about others success and happiness is unhappy in their own life. I may be idealist and naive, but I genuinely think most people are good. Bitterness and jealousy only has an effect on the person feeling it. As that saying goes haters never prosper. Positive thoughts to all - and for those who are successful and happy - I am happy for you! For those whore not - I hope that you will be. Rant over :) Everyone have a great weekend!
