A bit of advice for budding authors: Never ask people to like you. Dont ask them to like your FB Page, dont ask them to comment on your blog... dont ask people to follow you on Twitter... make your info available, but dont ask people to like you or to follow you or to, I dont know, leave you notes and things. Of course, you can do these things if you want, but Im just giving a bit of well-meant and kindly advice here. I think that its important for your interactions with your readers and fans to come organically, something thats whole and thats not forced. Quality is more important than quantity. You dont want a whole bunch of of people on your FB Page who are just there because you asked them to be there and theyre too nice to say no. You dont want a whole bunch of people leaving comments on your blog just because they want comments on theirs. What you want is to really build something real for yourself. Slowly but surely and quality over quantity. At the end of the day, its better to have a hundred people around who are ALWAYS going to be around; rather than to have a million people around who will most likely be gone tomorrow. Remember that, wonderfuls! :)
