A bit of bragging a bit ... this is my beautiful only daughter Ashely Christina . Im proud of her for something she is about too do. She is now a VP in a non profit organization called Laredo Against Drunk Drivers. Girly is a victim of a drunk driver rear ending her vehicle and causing serious injuries which several are now life long. Recently she was told by specialist that she may never be able to carry a baby if she gets pregnant due to the damage done to her in that accident by the DWI driver. This week Laredo Against Drunk Drivers will be host their first event a SKATING Tournament at the Hillside Skating Ramp Center on McPherson drive. Funds collected will go towards education programs they want to establish for young drivers on the dangerous elements with drinking and driving. As they say its ok to drink and have fun at parties but be responsible when you do drink . The consequences can be life altering to the victims and their families for not being responsible drinkers. All major beer companies distributors are in support of the new Non profit group Laredo Against Drunk Drivers. If you want to help they will have the tournament this coming Saturday either as a participant or volunteer. They have over 30 participants for the skake jumping tournament and growing. We wish Laredo Against Drunk Drivers the best in their events and The Sports Wire News Network will be supportive of their events and will place their events in our news sequences. Please dont drink and drive from my personal side of things my soul weeps knowing my only daughter may never have babies because of the injuries of a drunk drive caused her.
