A bit of today... We held our last volunteers meeting where we phone called and wrote over 400 door hangers to be hung in Kaikohe tomorrow to encourage people to get out and vote early. Not long to go now Team! Early voting opened in Kawakawa and it was fun crossing people off the rolls who had told me they had voted today. If you have voted in Kawakawa or anywhere in Northland please let me know so I can cross you off our list and know we dont need to call you ;-) The early voting booth will be in Kawakawa for one more day tomorrow Tuesday 16th 10am-3pm before heading to Moerewa for two days. Philomena Terei posted her 4th Election Day build up post about voting from overseas. I love receiving these. I also saw a picture of our flyer on display in Australia. Awesome! My Dad was on the Te Tai Tokerau Debate on Maori TV commenting on the need for improved infrastructure. Hes clearly a Councillors Dad :-) Kelvin did a great job in the debate! 5 days to go!
