A black professional comedian has to be so amazingly talented and skilled its ridiculous, he or she has to be skilled enough to perform in the hoodest of hood clubs/rooms, a progressive black room/club, a church, a mainstream room and a conservative room. A white comedian has to be able to play well in a mainstream room, they do not ever HAVE to develop their skills to play a different demographic. Ive seen so many white comedians come to a black room, not do well, and never come back, I see those same comedians perform at a mainstream room, get some laughs, and never leave. ~ DB
