A bleak, dystopian future has arrived faster than I could have - TopicsExpress

A bleak, dystopian future has arrived faster than I could have imagined. With its own set of Orwellian good speak : the good days have come. Last two days have been tough for me on the FB. Because my views dont match with the flag bearers of majoritarianism in the country. :-)) And like Hun hordes, they have tried to jump all over me. However, the most interesting part is that they feel that I dont have a right to have views which may be not so eulogising of the new leader.:-)) So, it has already started. And it has made me reflect. If it is that we should be deferential to the PMs and Presidents, (which in itself I find problematic), then how do we justify the recent vilification of our last PM and even the current President? And what was right for them, why cant it be right for the new leaders? So clearly, it is not the argument that we should be civil in talking about the holders of state positions. Then what is it? To my mind, it is the intolerance of the saffron lumpen brigade, hordes of which troll the cyberspace, who are utterly jobless now. Now that the good days of their leaders have come, they are jobless and looking for jobs. What better job than to muzzle the voices of even faintest disagreement. I am bracing myself for the reactions against this post from you know who. I am worried, but not scared. I would continue expressing myself in civilised ways as that is the right given to me by the constitution of the country.:-))
