A brief lull in the rain this morning but a steadily increasing wind that will be gusting as high as 35-45 in the valley and over 50 mph in the higher terrain this morning and into the afternoon. Radar shows a line of heavy rain and imbedded storms near Binghamton that will likely enter our region later this morning. Some of the strongest winds are likely as this line moves through. Cant rule out a thunderstorm as this line has produced some severe weather across NE PA. Winds will remain gusty but not as strong as we head into the later afternoon and evening. Temps are being skyrockets by the southerly blow torch, highs may break 70 degrees in the HV today. We will likely see some breaks in the clouds by this afternoon as well.
