A brother wrote an interesting status the other day about the banner of Islam and how people think its a terrorists flag, very interesting actually because if we only raise this banner at times of war or when we are angry and we allow those misguided Muslims to commit atrocities under this banner around the world, this is what a non-Muslim will think of this banner, whilst those misguided Muslim are staining and throwing dirt and oppression on our banner, we should be countering that with restoring pride and honour to the banner of Islam, its a banner of Justice and its a Muslims duty to fight oppression even if his opponent is another Muslim Its not only the Media that are killing Islams reputation, its misguided Muslims themselves giving the Media ammunition to reload against the Ummah...When two groups of Muslims fight this does not mean that one side are not Muslim, although we are are warned about such dispute amongst us as an Ummah, there was wars in Islamic history between Muslims (Many Examples) take Salahuddin for example, he marched towards the other Muslim kings empires with his soldier he ended up being the king of 4 different Muslim countries (Syria,Libya,Egypt,Yemen) he tried his hardest to follow the footsteps of Muhammad (PBUH), when he marched towards the other Muslims empires they begged Salahuddin Salahuddin go back, we will give you money and Salahuddin replied How can I unite with you people? When you are in one valley and I am in another valley the valley he attributed to himself was the :Valley of the Akhirat the valley of preserving the Muslim ummah (Here after), whilst the valley he attributed to them was the :Valley of the Dunya, preserving their own wealth and kingdom and when you see Muslims that favour only Muslims, even if that Muslim is wrong in the eyes of Islam thats also ignorant and unjust. A Muslims woman stole the baby of a Christian woman in the times of Salahuddin and the Christian woman became upset like any mother would become upset, the Muslim soldiers said to the Christian woman we give you permission to go to the king of the mumineen (Believers) he has a soft heart she went to Salahuddin and she told him of her story and Salahuddin started crying... He started crying, he ordered the Muslim soldiers to assist this Christian woman and help her find her baby, simple, it was just in the eyes of Allah....
