A bullet train thats promised in 2024 is expected to cover Mumbai- Ahmedabad route in around 2 hours will normally do 4 trips (2 up and down) in a day after providing for rest, maintenance and cleanup. These trains normally carry 1000 passesngers one way and going by Mr.Bejriwalss calculation should generate a revenue of $2bn in a year...Is he really from IIT. Someone needs to verify his credentials as no Social project can generate the kind of revenue he is talking about. At Rs 4000 per ticket should generate a revenue of approx $ 100m per annum..In a social development project, more than the direct returns Govt looks at the indirect revenues and money in hands of the people...Just imagine the commerce that would be built around running these trains..and growth of trade & commerce...Perhaps AAPtards cant understand simple economics and can understand only dadagiri on the streets..
