A bus load of religious Jews came to Rav Ashlag around midnight while we were there. They set up a microphone and the rabbi started lecturing over a loud speaker. He trashed talked the Kabbalah Centre right in front if us, saying we allow non Jews to learn, and we dont practice real Kabbalah. Funny. Rav Ashlag said that we must bring Kabbalah to all people of all faiths in order to bring an end to war, conflict and death itself. Make no mistake, before the Rav and Karen started going to the graves of the Ari and Rav Ashlag and all the Kabbalists, these places were deserted. Empty. Now the orthodox took them over and they swarm the places. Suddenly, they love the Kabbalists and they force the women to stand apart from the men at the grave sites and they get violent if you dont obey. This is why the Kabbalists of history tell us in blunt words: When rabbis and other religious Jews behave with such intolerance, the Muslims and Christians will behave the same way. Kabbalists like Rav Moses Cordovero (who is buried in front of the Ari) said all the worlds pain, poverty and war is the fault of these intolerant rabbis and people. Those are his words. Not mine. But it was great because it gave us a chance to behave with dignity by not responding to them with anger and remaining polite.
