A call out to all makers of Damascus, Pattern Welded Steel, Wootz and Mokume Gane makers! Jeff McCrady and I am asking for help with an idea. We would like to make a donation to the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis, Tn. Here is the idea: in stead of scrapping the small cut off pieces of your Damascus or Wootz or Makume Gane please take a few and sand them into Grains of Rice! Jeff is making the chop sticks. I need rice to fill the bowl. The bowl made of Mokume Gane. This will be a donation and a representation of each and every person who helps with this project. Who is in and willing to fill the bowl?
