A call to Arsenal fans – Stay Positive and make some noise!-JustArsenal Hello Arsenal fans. We are nearing another Premier League weekend which will have most of us at the edge of our seats, because we are going up against Liverpool, a side which has performed quite well in the start of EPL. Arsenal on the other hand has been equally impressive in the Premier League. This has resulted in us leading the table. The season starter for Arsenal was one which we all wanted to forget and many of us have actually forgot after some awe inspiring football by the Gunners. Until recently of course, where Arsenal have lost two home games back to back, one in Champions League and the other one being in Capital One Cup. The aftertaste of defeat against Aston Villa has resurfaced again. Many have questioned Arsene Wengers decisions, tactics, and rightly so. As fans we want our team to do well and want to win every match there is. That’s very good. But one thing I am disappointed with is our fans reaction to a defeat. Yes WE SHOULD BE DEPRESSED AT A LOSs, WE CAN EVEN WHINE A LITTLE, BUT THEN AFTER THE DUST SETTLES, LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT GAME AND CHEER OUR TEAM ON. When we were on a winning run, we fans asked each other to stay grounded and look forward to the next match. Yes we talked about the winning match but we soon looked towards the next match wanting to win that one. But what I see after a loss is quite surprising. People are not looking towards the next match and living the defeat. Lets not do that. We have felt the defeat, it has hurt us, now let us look towards the Next few games. I am a very recent fan of Arsenal – past 3 years. I know that 3 years is nothing compared to 8 years some fans had to face without a trophy. I CONGRATULATE YOU GUYS FOR YOUR BELIEF. Lets learn from them, they stuck towards the team during our thin period. Some guys are saying Arsene should be more critical and state the obvious in the press conference about players conference. Do these people know how much it affects the players? This kind of talk is done Coach to Player on a personal level during training – as said by Arsene himself. The last thing our players want is lack of confidence and lack of support from the manager himself. I have much more things to say. I agree we require players to add to our squad, but till the window arrives, we got to believe in the team we have. Maybe capital one cup exit was a blessing in disguise. Only time will tell. But I hope it is. From One Fan to Another, Lets support our team during wins and ALSO during our losses. This year is our time to rise. We will have a trophy. Deep down we all believe that, lets put more effort to show it in our actions and words. Some will support me and others wont. But I only pray we SUPPORT ARSENAL! -EM
