He talks about possible states that the human mind can imagine based on the manipulation of the objects of experience via mental computation. All within a materialist framework that explains thought as the collective product of specialized units of computation. All of these neural processes can be simulated using computers. Weve managed to reverse engineer stereoscopic vision in this manner, as well as decision making. Much less lofty than Platos realm of ideas or Hegels idealism.
