A charmer witnessed an off-white terrier (possibly chi) mix get struck by a car on the southbound 87 Alma ramp. It was just before the exit onto Alma. After being hit, the dog was in the median area on the ground but actively barking. She did not see any obvious external damage but the dog was clearly unable to get up. A young man carefully picked the dog up and bundled it into his car... presumably to take it to a nearby veterinarian. Sadly, she wasnt able to get any further info and could not see if the dog even had a collar.
