A chuckled when I saw this quote because this is often the case. I have had these moments many times in my life and was challenged just this past week. Heres the deal on this one and as I see it: It is often very easy to look at another who appears strong, capable, always seems to have it together, is the rock for others or the glue, who always seems to have the answers, can make magic happen even at the darkest times and forget that they too have breaking points, that they too require assistance at times (though they will not always ask) and that they too struggle form time to time when the load gets a bit too heavy. If you know people like this and they are in your circle...take time to acknowledge them, appreciate their strengths (knowing that they have their limits too) and do what You Can to Not Add More Pressure by asking Them to Do More, when you Beautiful have the capability to do for yourself. I see 2014 as the Year that We All take ownership for our own, our own abilities, limitations, wants, desires, needs, expectations etc and start taking responsibility to make them happen for ourselves instead of relying so heavily on those we feel (perceive) as Stronger and more Capable. Time to Rise and Time to Thrive! xo
