A church planter friend recently sent this Theodore Roosevelt quote to Bryan and I. He too, knows the heartache that comes with having to leave a church he so lovingly and painstakingly planted. I want to pass the encouragement along to my other church planter friends- I know many of you have recently been in - or are currently in the midst of -having to leave your plants due to budget issues. Even though the quote was not originally said in the context of church planting, it applies in many ways. Thank you for daring greatly! “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.
