A client called me last week, extremely upset as she has been the #victim of #identitytheft, and has been trying to get an #IDTHEFTPIN from #IRS with no luck. We are going to try for her. Dont hold out much hope of it arriving timely. But the worst thing, was her story about the #HainesCity branch of a local #bank chain, when she went to close her account. She was handed a cashiers check in excess of $10K without being asked for her ID. Her recollection of the conversation with the cashier: You really just gave me $10K without asking for my ID? Cashier: We know you. Client: I dont know YOU! Cashier: Well, I just started. If you are a bank representative with a bank branch in Haines City, you can call me and I will tell you if it was your bank. But my guess is, you should have already heard as the client demanded to talk to a supervisor. If you havent heard, you need to call me.
