A co-worker of mine today mentioned he had a song by The Clash stuck in his head. Without missing a beat, I immediately guessed it was Police and Thieves and was 100% correct. Does anyone else think this may be a telling index to the extent to which all the furor over the Michael Brown/Eric Garner controversies has permeated our collective unconscious (not to imply that either Brown or Garner was a thief)? Or do I just have a super-useless superpower? Parenthetically, I really wish that site was still active.
