A cold front in our vicinity will continue to provide a focal point for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night and again on Wednesday. The front will pass through Georgia-Carolina and stall just south of the Central Savannah River Area on Wednesday. This should cause Wednesday to be a drier day overall, but humidity will remain high enough that scattered thunderstorms are still a good possibility, especially south of I-20 into South Georgia. The gradual drying trend will continue Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will be near or just below average for the next several days with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the mid to upper 60s. Tuesday Night - Mostly cloudy, warm and humid with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low 70. Wind SW 5-10 mph. Wednesday - Mostly cloudy and warm with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. High 85. Wind N 4-8 mph. Wednesday Night - Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low 68. Wind N 1-4 mph. Thursday - Partly sunny and warm with a 20% chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. High 89. Wind E 5-10 mph.
