A colleague I had over time painstakingly managed to convince against weaves told me today she will be installing that thing on her head again. This because she is attending a wedding and part of the brides requirements is that the bridesmaids must rock weaves. It is black people getting married. But sisters, why mara? God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.
