A colony is a pretty good place. All beautiful houses looking exactly the same. All the gardens flowering the same flowers at the same time. The variety of uniqueness. So every morning I put a collar and chain on my mind and take it for a morning walk. Its a uniform straight road going from a defined X to a defined y for it never wondered why. But tell that to my collared mind. That idiot has a mind of its own. First it pauses at the gate and leaving the uniform roses in uniform bloom, seeks the pink wild flowers at the road side where a butterfly is doing a Don Juan. I pull the chain and the mind hurries again to walk the straight road. But then again two magpies had sat down to discuss the political potpourri. My mind mindlessly joins in trying to decipher the angry birds anthem. It then moves down the grasses wondering where does the grasshopper jump from. I pull the collar. It lifts up and freezes. A wisp of white cloud had lazily wafted in the blue , bending and flexing an unknown aerobics . I am not sure how a chained and collared mind can float to the sky and tickle a lonely cloud. How can it be so pathetically in disciplined. So I stretch and pull it on the straight road to go from nowhere to nowhere in the variety of uniformity.
