A comedy of sorts. Throughout my years in the corporate world, I never heard of a query that was issued without a specific timeline for a response as is the case with our Odua goddess and princess- apologies to the Yorubas for using the name of our progenitor and founder. A query with an ambiguous timeline such as that given can only be an exercise in futility. Time is a healer of wounds no doubt and my people have a short memory. Very, very soon, another scandal of monumental proportion will break out and we will soon forget about this one. Subsidy fraud has become an endless session of adjournments in our courts just as Faroukgate is also turning to a facade of sorts. EFCC has gone into a coma just as ICPC too have only turned to instruments to witch hunt political opponents. What is the outcome of the various pension frauds as well as the fate of Maina that was widely publicized just as the case of Ubah who is now gallivanting around campaigning for gubernatorial seat in Anambra State. Anything can happen in this my hood and I pray that soon, and someday very soon, I will sleep a common man and wake up the next day as the Nigerian Ambassador to the United States of America. It will not be a daydream but a reality very soon, as in my country any and everything can happen.
