A comfortable win for the Northern League side yesterday, overcoming Lynn Avon 2-nil, keeping them at the top of the 2nd Division ladder. The Fed 1s battled out a 2 all draw with Tauranga Old Blues, the point not good enough to keep them on top of their table, dropping them to 2nd spot behind new leaders AFC Fury. The Fed 2s got their first win of the season, 2-nil at home against West Hamilton. That will give the spirits a big lift. Two wins in the first round of the Bay SportsMed Cup for the Blues with the Bay 1 Relics defeating Te Pukes Bay 2 side 5-2 and our Bay 2 side had a very good win over Te Pukes Bay 1 side 4-2 in extra time.
